Treasure Bin loves to recycle (and upcycle).  As much as possible, we use recycled and/or recyclable packaging.  This may mean that when you receive your order, the packaging has evidence of previous owners - but we always make sure that it is sturdy enough to get the contents to you intact.

If you are ordering something as a gift and would prefer the envelope/box to look all shiny and new, just mention that in your comments box.

We also like to encourage others to recycle so if you're in need of some packaging, it's always worth asking.  For example, we keep empty ribbon spools and give them away for the asking - they're mostly the small cardboard kind, about 1/2in (13-16mm) deep and 3-4 inches across. But we have different sizes, and some plastic ones.  Occasionally customers ask for these for storing their own bits of ribbon and thread.  They're free of charge - you just need to pay postage.  Contact Us for details, specifying what size you would prefer and what country you live in.
